Classicalgas
I was googling around and came across this - it's supposedly a driver update for first gen HiMD players, dated 26 Jan 2005.According to the page info, it updates the drivers at C:\Program Files\Sony\Personal Audio DriverI had a quick look in this folder pre and post installing it - none of the time stamps on the files seem to have changed. Maybe someone could do a more exhaustive check? Or have I missed a post on this already - it's not new.
atrain
if you've updated SS via cnnect of planetMG it would have been done then, hence no change. if not i have no idea
Ishiyoshi
I am not certain if this is how you discern the latest Personal Audio Drivers. Nevertheless, it should correspond with the latest OpenMG Secure Module. Therefore, in our case, the latest Personal Audio Drivers are as follows:MagicGate Memory Stick Device : 4.0.05.10290NW-E2, NW-E3, NW-E5 and NW-E8P : 4.0.05.10290OpenMG CD : 4.0.05.10290CD Walkman : 4.0.05.10290Hi-MD : 4.0.05.10290Music Clip, NW-S4, NW-E7 and NW-E10 : 4.0.05.10290HDWM : 4.0.05.10290Net MD : 4.0.05.10290 Edited February 22, 2005 by Ishiyoshi
The_Stamp
that is mainly for adding the driver so you can make your hi-md act as a removable device on win-ME and 98. funny.. i just found the driver on the US site http://www.sonydigital-link.com/DNA/common...p?l=en&v=&m=pad
