grenzhm
I want to purchase one of the units but I don't know which one at that outstanding price.I heard the battery of the NH1 would be extremely expensive and does not last very long? Is the playing time of the NH900 only longer because of the additional standard battery? On the other hand the remote and the metal body of the NH1 seem much better...Thank for your replies! Embio
it really does depend... the battery life of the NH900 is brilliant, esspecialy once you change the supplied battery for a 1400Mah one, and dont forget the AA attachment. Also, it doesnt need a charging cradle to charge, which is great for travelling. However, the NH-1 has a brilliant remote, and is a fair bit thinner and smaller too... but your right about the batteries.swings and roundabouts really, as we say round here. grenzhm
the price can go lower after 2nd gen is outwhere is the option for not choosing either? ←I don't like to wait. My old N1 had the "blankdisk-error" and is at Sony service. After repair I sell the old one. And that's far lower than any other price I ever saw. I ordered the NH1 just a few minutes ago. In the German MD-Forum everyone told me to buy thze NH1.The Shop is www.asaboshisystems.de.
Michael1980
You can get the NH1 for around 150-190 at the Sony EBay auction btw.
KJ_Palmer
NH900 for battery issues.Although as I've already got one (an NH900), I'd probably have an NH1 instead/as well as, now. If that makes sense...Anyway, I'd wait for the second generation Hi-MD's to come out, particularly the RH10...

Fat Tires
Unless you plan to do a lot of Mic recordings and need time/date stamp on your recordings, I'd suggest getting the NH900 because it's cheaper and it has better battery options.
