bockers
With the new devices comming out (NWa3000 etc). I had read that there would be a Sonic Stage replacement called connect - tying in with the connect website.Well following the new Connect Link download it leads to the Sonic Stage 3.2 installer So no SS replacement then I take it?John
gr00vy0ne
Looks like it's coming soon. Mora.jp changed their website to match the new Connect software!
Guest Stuge
Will it work with old sony portable player?i`m quite tensed about it .Also it might stop further development in sonic stage ver3.2.
Febs
I keep trying to download it from here but i cant find the button to click on to download it. The button that says "download now" only downloads the the application to import MP3s into Connect Player.
Ishiyoshi
The new "CONNECT" Player is not ready for download yet. It will only be released sometime in mid-November.

BandBPeterson
I'm also a bit worried about it. Hopefully it will still allow older atrac3 devices to work. I wonder if it will be integrated into Sony's Vaio Media Software. One of the biggest problems I've had with the current Sonicstage is not being able to play music downloaded from Connect through Media products because of the copy protection incompatibility. imagine_
I think the new Sony Connect software will be part of a new sony media suite that will connect network devices around the home like tv's, music devices, etc... This is the impression I got from a slide I saw on the forum somewhere.

That sounds a lot like their current Vaio Media Software, although this might be in preparation for the PS3 connectivity. Ever since it was unveiled at E3 last year they were talking about something along those lines.

Sony was supposed to provide a SonicStage 3.2 patch for VAIO (supposedly in September) to rectify the new non-DRM incompatibility issue with VAIO related software. I sure miss using Do VAIO/VAIO Zone for ATRAC playback.
