When Not Using Your Md, What Do You Do?

Just got my £109 MZ-NH1 from Amazon, wahooooo! Absolutely love it already biggrin.gif I'm sending my NH900 back to Empire Direct, not because I think it's inferior in anyway (as far as I'm concerned both have pros and cons that level each other out, and so both rock as much as each other), but for the whole pricing thing in my last thread.

Anyway, just a question - when your MD player is fully charged on the stand and you won't be using it for a bit, do you take it off and put it in the pouch, or is it ok to leave it on the stand which is still plugged in? I'm thinking in terms of battery life, usb-port life etc. I'm using the pouch as like a little hood to keep dust off etc., but would be nice just to be able to leave it on the stand.

Beside battery life, you might want to think about power surges. If lightning strikes a power line, or if some other big bad thing happens to the power grid you can get a power surge that frys your electronics that are plugged in. If you don't have a surge protector, just in case something happens, I wouldn't leave it on the charging stand plugged in all the time. I have a friend who's computer got broken in a power surge.

When not using my MD, I carve on my skin the logos of MD, Sony, JVC, Aiwa and Sharp using rusty blades, and then I submerge myself in a tub full of alcohol so I can suffer for their sins.

(And by the way, I have this great bridge in San Francisco I can sell you, cheap.)
