Ok...Let me put it this way, I am giving up on sonicstage.

I hav got a Nw-Hd3 which came with sonicstage 2.3. After a few weeks of use, out of nowhere i got this "database not found" error. I uninstalled the program, Installed other versions of sonicstage, uninstalled sp2. but nothing solved the problem. Even installing sonicstage 3.0 didnt work.

I just want some advise from any people who hav solved this problem.

Is there any other way of transfering mp3z without using sonicstage?

Plz help me. I am REALLY getting desparate.

Thx for your help. I really appriciate it but i have done everything humanely possible to fix sonicstage but with no luck. I just have 2 questions.

Has anyone Successfully fixed this problem before?

Is there no other program I can use to transfer mp3s onto my Nw Hd3? Like real player. I cant find the plugin for Hd3 but has someone else had success?

Thx for you help

Sony hardware tends to be chained to Sony software. You're unlikely to find plugins.

Have you really, methodically gone through the FAQ and not only uninstalled the old version but deleted the various directories and registry keys before reinstalling SS 3.0 ?

There have been many successful fixes with this.

Have you reinstalled SP2? It may have database components that Sonic Stage uses.

Have you also searched for ojbsir.exe (probably in your Program Files/Sony/Sonic Stage folder) and run that? It's supposed to authenticate the database.

If none of those fixes works, then you should get in touch with Sony Support and be persistent. It's a new device, it's their software, push them to make it work. Don't let their first level of technical support, which is pretty moronic, try to brush you off--demand to be escalated to a technician.

And if they have a different fix, it would be great to post it here.
