AA rechargable batteries evolved from 800mAh up to 2500mAh.. Why don't they develop higher capacity gumstick batteries for minidiscs? After all both are NiMH..

This lousy battery only lasts for a few hours and almost useless for Hi-MD recording with my 910...

Don't know if the 910 uses the same gumsticks as the nh900, but have a look at this thread for some links to alternatives to the NH900 gumstick, plus stand-alone chargers.

Any help?

Which is why I've only ever stuck with devices that use lithium ion/polymer batteries - longer running time, lighter and no memory effect.

I love my NH1.

I'm not complaining

Oh yeah, did it ever occur to you that AA batteries are bigger in size *duh*

But then the AA squashed flat may also b the same size as the gumstick

Dunno... huh.gif
