Tiesto
Here is some pics of my new device... http://espanol.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/carm...m/ph//my_photosit is so little that it looks like a case for a disc or like my mother said "is that a metallic cigarette case?" So far, I have listened the same song (lp2) in the three device for a quick sound test: in first place the NH900, not too far is the new E10 and as a good third one the NF610 (my predictions were right about that). It is my first player and Im shocked for its real size and weight, you have to look it and touch it, the pics arent good enough to realize that. I was very close to order the Sharp md-ds70 but the look of the e10 is breath taking I wanted a slim player so the e10 was the winner. Too bad that it doesnt come with the 2 lines remote, but the mc33elu is ok.btw do you recommend the Sony MDR-EX71SL Fontopia as good headphones? does it have a short cable to use it with a remote? radioactive
Little tip : if you buy Ex71 headphones, the pouch included in the package is the right size for your E10

culp4684
Is this true that the battery dies on this unit?←I wouldn't worry about it. I've had mine for over two years and I haven't noticed any drop off in power performance.
zerodB
No it's not that, it's just that eventually, the battery WILL loose charge, as all batteries do, and then replacing it is difficult, since the battery is built in.

Tiesto
Little tip : if you buy Ex71 headphones, the pouch included in the package is the right size for your E10 ←Cool, but you're talking about the Euro or NA version? I was going to order the Panasonic RP-HJE50 (ex71 clones) for US$20 from Amazon, but a friend's cousin who lives in New Jersey suggested me NewEgg.com 'coz it's close to his house thus so he can ship the package to my friend plus my earphones in a single shipping, therefore I ended up buying the ex71 black (they dont have the panas) for US$36 did I do the right thing? or I got influenced by the ex71 hype?Regarding the E10, its battery has a better performance than the NH900, I recharge it when there's just one bar and that is around five or six days of fair usage .The Li-Ion battery replacement isnt expesive perhaps the tech service is it, check this ref. # 175631811 at Sony Direct Accessories and Parts Center (DAPC USA) your price: US$38I wouldn't worry about it. I've had mine for over two years and I haven't noticed any drop off in power performance.just what I needed to read Edited May 4, 2005 by Tiesto
zerodB
You CAN replace the internal battery yourself - there was a thread by skyther over @ the T-board with pics on how to do it, but I can't seem to find it at the moment.I wouldn't worry about it for the moment. Your battery should hold charge for a couple of years. Then worry about ordering parts, etc.
