Wedge
I don't know what you mean by 'picture backup', but the iRiver hard disk units will do everything else I think.
zerodB
Bear in mind: A minidisc is removable media - theoretically the capacity is unlimited. Currently, HiMD discs are avaliable with 1 GB space.

The Low Volta
is that the only reason why someone should choose a md player over a mp3 player?←nope, for a lot of the ppl here on MDCF (including me) the recording capacities (definitly since the coming of Hi-MD) make the MD-format rise above all of the other options... you could even find quite some MD-users that also have a HD-player for listening-only ease, but if you can live with SonicStage, the 2nd gen Hi-MD's offer MP3 playback nowadays...but as has been said before... for 'listening only'-use, MD might not be the best option for you... bass_hit
- FM player/recorder- Mp3 support- Picture backup (buit-in or as add on device)- min of 10gigs of space- Less than 350$US (including adapters if needed)←If you're looking for an MD unit I would say get:- a portable FM rado (http://store.yahoo.com/challengeronline/minfmautscan.html) and a short 1/8" stereo to 1/8" stereo cable- An MZ-RH10 MD player/recorder (has MP3 support)- 10 blank Hi-MDs (for the 10 gig min.)This would be if you HAD to have MD format. I would suguest something else for you (like the iPod photo as previously stated) if you didn't need it to play MDs.
