0 mercury_in_flames
I'll laugh if it's anything like sonic stage, or any other sony programs i've tried, namely, the programs that came with my sony ericsson k700i.
0 Febs
Is there a chance of getting this programme posted up in the downloads section just like image converter 2 plus ??
0 pata2001
WTF? $20? Give me a break Sony. Give the software for free, and have it replace Sonicstage (add support for MD/HiMD, Network walkmans, etc), and Sony might have an iTunes killer. It supports podcast, video blog, RSS, drag-n-drop transfer, has video support with AVC/AAC encoding, picture support... definitely a possible excellent contender for iTunes. Too bad it is only for the PSP, and $20. The PSP is not a true media jukebox due to its limited storage capacity, making a software like this not really worth the money. Still, a good one for those that are easily confused on where to put files on the memory stick.
0 mercury_in_flames
haha, the funny thing is that i would probably buy it if i had a psp.
0 mercenary
Ive got it, thought I would give it a go, its not bad, the game backup option is nice as its just one click to backup the games (or the whole PSP for that). I knwo you can do this in windows but its easier with this.Music, dont use it, I use sonic stage. It has some sonic stage option but it doesnt list any of my music in my library. ahh well.Movies, hmm. Jury still out on this one. encoding is way faster than video 9 although with vid 9 you can rip with decrypter then encode, with this it needs to be in MPEG or AVI to convert. Ive just started playing with XMPEG so that might make things easier.Photos. Crap, I thought it would crop and resize your pics. all it does is resize and if the aspect ration isnt 16:1 then it just keeps the aspect and goes with the smallest dimension i.e my converted pics dont fill the whole scree. So heres the question, is it worth $20...Yes and no. If your a novice who is always asking "Wheres my movie folder, what does the music one do" etc etc. then its worth it. You just drag and drop for conversion, no messing, no fuss.If your a pro and you know that the PSP when connected appears in 'My computer' then you might be better off with Video9 and just plain ol' windows.ScoreNovice: 8/10Pro : 6/
0 Bananatree
Nice mini review, I assume it is Windows only... I really want something that will download photosets, convert them, then put them on my mem stick, kind of like the way the iPod does podcasts. 0 maxthrusters
I like it, and use it. My only gripes are that it doesn't support the XviD codec (so my converted DVDs don't show up) or ATRAC3/ATRAC3plus.Hopefully there will be upgrades to this software.
