ragnarok
When i was doing a transfer using Sonicstage 2.2 Todayon my Laptop with 3.2 ghz 1024 Mb memory running Xp i got a blue screen.the reason seem that Sonicstage 2.2 was using lot of resources.when SS2.2 was running it used around 55.000 KB and when transfering file it went up to 69.000 KB Is it normal it use so much resources?I have many songs in the Sonicstage databasecould this be the reason of the resource hogif i reduce the database will sonicstage use lesser resources? The Low Volta
but remember kids: "always run the SonicStage BackUp Tool" before upgrading!otherwise we'll see a new thread within a few days going "just lost my music library after I did what the MDCF-mods said, now you tell me how to fix this" (but you are right...SS2.2 is not relevant anymore)
ragnarok
I will not upgrade yet since program goes fine for now(as longer a huge update is made).
The Low Volta
I will not upgrade yet since program goes fine for now(as longer a huge update is made).←if you really don't trust 3.x (has only been good to me though), why not upgrade to 2.3 at least (with a back-up ofcourse)... 'cause this is the first version not to trash uploadings and not to feature a few other known bugs (and it's the version almost all ppl with 3.x troubles you're referring to, used and returned to)still, why not try the newest version, and if it's really as crappy as you think... just revert to whatever you want? (if you would follow the "clean install" procedure presented here, upgrading and even a return to your old setup shouldn't really give any troubles, as long as you remember to back-up your library)still whatever you choose...good luckPS: now you say ...since program goes fine for now...←but you did start this thread 'cause SS wasn't really working the way you wanted it to, I believe (used way too much memory)... so has this changed since then?
