The Low Volta
welcome to MDCF...64MB Nvidia graphics cardthese are known to bug out SonicStage, search the sotware/Faq's subforum for Nvidia (using the search-function) as it can be resolved by downgrading the driver a bitAre you truly anti-virus free? yes, i have norton antivirus 2005 and norton antivirus 2004 PRO before, and have recently done a full scan and no viruses were found←norton isn't that bad, but with one virus scanner (and no spyware-scanners) you can't be really sure... look for the "how to keep your PC virus free" thread by kurisu and try TrendMicro housecall and AD-aware...when i load sonicstage it comes up with a box saying "please wait while Windows configures OpenMG Secure Module"also try searching the software/Faq's for "openmg secure module" as this bug and most likely, some solutions have been discussed already...good luck,Volta
rajanm1
norton isn't that bad, but with one virus scanner (and no spyware-scanners) you can't be really sure... look for the "how to keep your PC virus free" thread by kurisu and try TrendMicro housecall and AD-aware...i have microsoft antispyware, Ad-Aware SE Personal, Spyware Doctor, Registry Mechanic, Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzer 1.2.1 installeed
The Low Volta
i have microsoft antispyware, Ad-Aware SE Personal, Spyware Doctor, Registry Mechanic, Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzer 1.2.1 installeed←now THAT's safe and as for some info:For your information, SonicStage is known to have conflicts with later version of NVIDIA drivers. For example, the NVIDIA v.66.93 driver is known to crash SonicStage; thus, you may need to downgrade it to previous versions like v.61.77. from this threadabout the OpenMGsecure thing, I was quite sure I saw this in a thread, but can't seem to find it myself...but if you want to try something, try a clean install of SonicStage 3.1 as specified in this threadhope that it helps, otherwise...hope someone with a bit more knowledge has an answergreetings, Volta
toxigenicpoem
v.66.93 or try upgrading, the 66.93 were basically instable for almost anyone. The new Forceware 7x.xx and up are a rebuild to correct the 66.xx drivers. If your going to downgrade to the 61 version, I recommend using OmegaDrivers.net tweaked 61s, the new 7xs should be out soon.

A440
This thread:http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?showtopic=8071tells you how to uninstall every bit of SonicStage. Make sure you follow through and get rid of all the registry entries .Then get SonicStage 3.1 here. http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?showtopic=9586OpenMG is part of SonicStage. You can also get SonicStage 3.1 here:http://forums.minidisc.org/downloads/files.php?cat=2But if you have a high-speed internet connection you're better off getting it directly from Sony. Also replace the NVidia driver as explained above.

Ishiyoshi
i can uninstall sonicstage but the openMG secure module will not uninstall, and where can i actually get the older nvidia drivers from?←You can definitely uninstall OpenMG Secure Module by using "Add or Remove Programs" within your Control Panel. For NVIDIA drivers: refer to toxigenicpoem's instruction and try this link.or try upgrading, the 66.93 were basically instable for almost anyone. The new Forceware 7x.xx and up are a rebuild to corect the 66.xx drivers. Christopher
nVidia v71 drivers run fine with me and Sonicstage. Update to v71, you should be fine - if they don't work with v71's then something else is afoot..
