hanz0 Posted May 27, 2005 Report Share Posted May 27, 2005 hi guys,i was wondering if anyone knew of any free software for making music on your computer. i dont mean for recording musc, i need a program that can create music. i used to have one, that you could choose any instrument and just write what notes you want to play, and combine all sorts of instruments.thanks. KrazyIvan Posted May 27, 2005 Report Share Posted May 27, 2005 I had a mixman dm2 that came with some software that let you mix all kinds of wavefiles together to remix and create all kinds of music. Sold it on ebay for $40. My cousin gave me a software package that does pretty much the same thing. It is called MTV Music generator. Kind of like fruity loops. It works if you have a lot of samples or can create your own samples. They are not free though. Not exactly what you are looking for either. There is a software synthesizer type software that is free called Buzz Machine that may be more what you are looking for. Try http://www.buzzmachines.com/ for more info.
