Matty
If I plug my RH910 into a Mac, will it be recognized as a data drive only? We have Macs at school and not having to buy a separate data drive would be nice. Thanks. This is also my first post, so hi all.
The Low Volta
If I plug my RH910 into a Mac, will it be recognized as a data drive only?←welcome to MDCF Matty, yes, your RH910 should be recognized by Macs (tested it with OS9 & OSX, not so sure about prior OSs) as a data drive...but as you say, only as a data drive, so no (playable) music transfers (unless you use Virtual PC)...hope this helps,Volta
Matty
That is indeed exactly the the thing I was hoping to hear. Means I haven't gotta buy a flashdrive.
icie
Please note that as a storage medium, the Hi-MD is a bit slow. Took me half an hour to push 300 MB of data into my RH10. Definitely not a good option if you like to go fast and furious with file copy and hot swapping. Or if you are aching to go home (like I am now). tartan
It is also likely to spin and spin and spin with little or no result, as happened today again with an emac at college, after a few tries at connecting it the storage icon would no longer appear on the desktop. Matty
Well, it'll likely be just graphic design assignments. So nothing super-huge and certainly nothing like a 300mb file.
