I like my RH10. It's my friend sad.gif

So it doesn't have a cradle. It's still quite a handy unit. I'm just glad it charges via USB. My old NetMD player did quite the opposite. I'm also fond of the fact that It has a rechargable instead of a standard 1X AA slot in NetMD units. I was using rechargables from radio shack but I like being able to charge it while it's inside the unit.

I got my 910 yesterday, and I'm loving it. Compared to my 600D, it's great! I like that it charges via USB, I like that I can transfer MP3s to it (keeps my database of MP3s from becoming redundant with transcoded copies), I like that I can have shuffle mode on, got to a specific song, and shuffle mode stays on. I think it sounds a bit better, too, but it's hard to tell because I plug it into one of my computers at work and play it through the PC speakers. (they are decent speakers, tho)

A charging/USB cradle would be nice, but I can live without.

Now Sony just needs to nix the DRM/SonicStage requirement for copying MP3s to disc, come out with a deck and a car head unit, and I'll be happy!

What about the sound quality when playing MP3´s? A lot of RH10 owners are quite unhappy about the bad MP3 playback on their units, is this an issue with the RH910 as well?

Hi............I have a 910, maybe I am just not very fussy, but it seems just fine to me, I havent noticed any issues apart from the fact that very low bit rates (below about 48Kb/s MP3 will not play, but hey...this isnt much of an issue is it as most MP3 will come your way at much higher bit rates than that, the ability to fast transfer MP3 is fantastic and I love my 910

thanks Vaughan

That´s good to hear. I´m ofcourse just asuming that the MP3 playback problem would be the same on these two units, but it´s still encouraging whenever someone tells me that the sound is OK. I´m sure I´ll be able to live with lacking MP3 playback just fine, but I guess I won´t know for sure before I get my RH10.
