Not convinced it makes the sound any better, probably enhances bass a bit though, but they're definitely a must for comfort and general ear-fit... The Low Volta Posted June 17, 2005 Report Share Posted June 17, 2005 I never used them, untill I bought me some Senn MX350's... These buds are quite big and after extended listening started to hurt a bit. I just thought, what the heck, let's try 'em with foamies... can't feel worse. So to my surprise, while they are even bigger with foamies, they felt great and even after 3-4 hour stretches I haven't noticed them in anymore (and definitely no more stinging in my auricle). What's even better, the foamies seem to lock out a lot of the surrounding noise. I listen a lot on the train and with the relatively silent Belgian trains and the foamies, I don't hear any (?? ) train noises anymore...
