Jenni
I bought an HD5 yesterday I called the store to make sure they had a boxed one before I went to get it, they said yes. When I got home I found it already had quite a bit of music on it (many spelt wrongly) and I was wondering if this is right? I would expect to have been given a discount if it was one that had been returned to the shop for some reason (ie, second hand) especially since I asked for a 'new boxed' one (which I didn't expect to have any pre-loaded music). What do you guys think?
mercury_in_flames
I think thats a bit dodgy really, how many songs?? A new one should only have 2 songs on it, the hd5 comes with two songs on it out of the box. I would get them to give me a replacement. What colour is it? If the hd5 has still got its protective plastic clear screen protectors on the screen and buttons, and the buttons are still ok, then you could keep it, but I wouldnt, I'd want a fresh one Edited November 23, 2005 by mercury_in_flames
imagine_
Umm.. that's definitely not right . If it was me, I'd bring it back, but I don't know if they'd give you a discount since there is no way to prove that it was like that when you bought it. What do you guys think?←Nw-hd5 HAve 2 sample preloded songs .They just give preview of songs(they r basically 10-20 sec songs). If there r more then 2 songs on the player then it seems that someone has already used it before u bought it .But if there are no scratches on the player or screen & every thing is working fine then don`t return it
Jenni
Thanks for your views. I think I will take it back, just to see what they say. (it is black, and has roughly 50 albums on it, it also has plastic on the scrren)
