electrode
I recently got a new battery for my MZ-HN900 (from minidisco), and I drained it completely, then charged it in the cradle... I left it in there about 5 hours and when i came back i tried to get it out and it was stuck, so i pulled it out with some pliers, to find out that it had doubled in size!! My Minidisc player still works with the other battery (luckily).Has this happened to anyone else? Is this a defect with the battery, player, cradle, or me? The Low Volta
you're very lucky the NH900 will still work!I'm afraid it is a combination of things... - the NH900 wasn't made to charge 1400mAh batteries- you should disconnect the ac-adaptor or remove the player from the cradle as soon as it is charged- the battery perhaps was already slightly weak/damagedjust read a bit on the "Battery University" as it will teach you how batteries should be treated if you want your equipment to survivehope this helps
greenmachine
Must have been a defective battery, recent MD units are designed to interrupt the charging process automatically as soon as the battery is fully charged, regardless of the capacity used. For some reason it seems it didn't.
