g52ultra
Was there NON US versions of the MZ-NH1 that had the USB jack built into the charging cradle? If so, where can I find one of these units, or just the cradle itself, as I already have an NH1 (US version)? Qwakrz
None of the NH1 cradles have USB, it was a pre-production mock-up that was never followed through with.
acidboy84
I certainly have the Non-US version as I live in Singapore. I don't have the USB port in the cradle. Sigh... Wouldn't it be better if NH1 came with it.
Ellen
As it's clear that there is no NH1 available with a USB port in the cradle, and I don't like my unit just lying on my desk when connected to the PC, I made a USB cradle for my precious.....Here's the pic! The unit has to be disconnected and to be placed on the original cradle to load the battery, but for tranferring songs, I think this is a great solution!By the way; I already had the plastic cradle. I once bought a few at a local electronics store; it took a lot to eventually buy them, because they normally use them for displaying the units they sell. bobt
If you take the cradle apart you can see where the outlet for the USB, you should be able to make a female to male usb connectionBob
1kyle
None of the NH1 cradles have USB, it was a pre-production mock-up that was never followed through with. The N10's were the unit with a USB extension -- you could put the unit on the cradle and there's another slot at the bottom where you can connect the cradle to the usb slot on the computer. The N10 also came with a nice battery case -- pity these 2 features weren't carried through to the NH1 -- although you can mod the battery case of the N10 to work with the NH1 (see another post on this topic).Cheers-K

lamewing
The DH10P has USB connections on the charging cradle and on the unit itself.I can confirm that as well. I thought the japanese NH1 had the connections. I am glad I didn't go to the trouble of ordering one from overseas. I guess the local model will do after all.Joe
