I have 2 packs of 5 Hi-MD discs that I want to sell. I bought too many after taking on a dealer "combo" offer.

I've listed them on eBay (Australia), item # 5806401872 and will ship worldwide.

They have a starting price of AUD$45.95, which is about:

- US$ 36

- CAN$ 42

- GBP 19

- Euro 27

BONUS!: another disc if I get the amount I want. There's also a buy-it-now price. Postage worldwide is via air mail, insured, and a maximum of about US$25

I am actually considering now returning these discs, if I can, so will look into that very closely in the next 2 days.

Including all costs, the cheapest EACH discs works out to be is no more than about US$6 / GBP 3.3 / Euro 5.1

... and for the buy-it-now, about: US$7.5 / GBP 4 / Euro 5.8

In actual fact, if you're in the US, Canada or Asia/Pacific region, it will be slightly less

I think they're a pretty good deal, therefore I would *greatly* apppreciate your feedback on this.

And of course, I'll just be too happy to assit you if you're interested so don't hesitate to contact me! happy.gif

I wouldn't make this reply if you hadn't specifically asked for feedback...

It was a decent deal up until a week ago:

Thanks a lot, man.

Yes, I thought that the only way to get honest feedback is to specifically ASK for it, so it is very appreciated. thumbsup.gif

I did a bit of searching before putting up the auction and I missed that... and it's a dealer here in Australia to make thing more ironic!... dry.gif (and the newer discs too)

Doing the maths, if you get 10 of his discs you'd pay about US$62.

You can get mine, in the US, with shipping for under US$57, and i can probably improve on that more... (but probably still too close to be competitive)

Well, may have to do some rethinking about it... we'll see.

Any more feedback/suggestions from anyone will be appreciated

throw in some normal sized slipcases in stead of those audiocasette size things or offer to ship 'em in them directly, this could lower shipping costs and lots of ppl prefer the smaller slipcases

I'm afraid that I personally still wouldn't buy them, as I just ordered five more from minidisc.au

Thanks for your comments, Volta.

Well, I decided it was better to close the listing. I managed to return these discs to the shop, believe it or not. They were kind enough to give me back my money... and they've just received the other blue ones by the way. So that was nice of them.

In the end I lost with the eBay fees (about AUD$1.50), but good experience anyway.

That should teach me, among other things, to do more thorough searches!

By the way, minidisc.au is a really good seller; supportive, friendly, good deals. Really good!

On a similar note:

I DO HAVE 74 min multi-coloured (or "colored") panasonic discs, packs of 5. I recently sold one on eBay.

Any suggestions on these ones? I would wish to sell the lot so if you have any ideas, throw 'em in.

As usual, I will appreciate your candor.

Regards to all smile.gif
