spy guy
Okay, so I recorded 7hrs and 18 mins onto my HiMD of a live event. I transfered the file perfectly fine to my PC's HD and the OMA file plays the full 7hrs and 18 mins in Sonic Stage. Now, when I try to convert the file to a WAV file, using Sony's own software, and Marc's software as well, the WAV file only has the first 32 mins of the recording available to listen to. The file size of the WAV file is over 4 gigs, and it looks like everything converts properly. There are no error messages at all. Can anyone help me out? Am I going to have to record this to my PC the slow way?

You could convert them to WAV separately and then join them in in whatever editor you use. Failing that you can play the file in SS and save as a WAV to hard drive (7 hours 18 minutes recording!) By the way, how long did it take to uplift from HI MD?
marcnet
WAV files have a limit of 4GB (or is it 2GB). The file can be bigger, but most programs will get the size of the WAV data by reading the header of the WAV file. The length within this header is stored in 32 bits. The max value that 32 bits can store is 4GBYou could use himdrenderer to convert to flac. I think FLAC files support > 4GB
Syrius
I suggest splitting the huge OMA already on the computer and leave the original files alone. Esp. if you didn't upload using SS 3.
