kimchi
as the title, today I suddenly noticed that it's so difficult for me to set playback mode for a single track repeat, whatever I combine 'Main, Sub $ repeat'. It's so common a playback mode but seems for me very tricky. If I use 'A->B' to select one section of a track and meanwhile set 'repeat' on, that's ok, but obviously that's not what I want, just one section of a track, and also very compleax! MZ-RH10 surely can do this, as I believe, but how?I got one MZ-RH10 several months ago, before, I often operated manually when I want to listen a song seveval times continuously.I am a newcomer in this forum although I came here for fixing a problem of 'sonicstage' months ago. It's a virgin post, may be some stupid. Thanks in advance and sorry for my English. Edited October 5, 2005 by kimchi

Don't have an RH10, but have other units that have the same remote - RM-MC35ELK; If you press the play mode button on the remote once you will see "1" in the display. This is single track mode. Now if you press and hold the play mode button you will get the arrow for repeat - therefore these 2 together will repeat the single track. kimchi
I got the answer just now. Sony gave me a big surprise this time. Because my machine is a japanese verison, after I got it, I modified it to Chinese Menu by....you all knew. But the two options in the 'repeat playback' menu, that is, 'Start(meaning)' and 'Close(meaning)'(all are chinese characters, when I select 'close' when playing, actually the 'repeat icon' however appears on the LCD(it fuctions too, automatically repeat the playing song), on the contrary, when i select ' start', the icon disppears. Faint~~~~Sony totally confused the meaning of the two simple Chinese words, Mr. Smith's hat on Mr. Jacky's head, according to a chinese saying. I don't know the guy from which country do such a translation work. If he is an japanese, too careless, as a common japanese, they should know the meaning of the two simple Chinese words. Even common Korean maybe know.Sony is too careless.ANother thing, you can validate 'start' or 'Close(or stop)' repeat only when the song is playing or paused, but not the case when you stopped the song. I don't think this is a good way since I cannot distinguish very clearly between 'stop' and 'pasue' on MZ-R10, when you press 'ent', they just go the same way, playing from the break point.sorry for a mistake in my own reply above, 'LCD'->'OLED’, hehehehe, so important a thing, cost much money.and thanks richyhu and Ishiyoshi's warm help, although I seldom use it, maybe in the future I will. The important thing is, I found a big translation mistake on RH10. The RH10 certainly can do single track repeat, but for Chinese people, a big headache is waiting for you if you want do it by operating the machine.
