ingoo
Well, as I said, I can´t turn the volume all the way up. I can imagine that other systems have a lot more bass though, I just wanted to say that this system doesn´t have no bass

Dale Caliente!
Do they have a version of this without the Minidisk??? The 70 watts and all.It is 70 watts total wattage??? The site is in JP and I don't see this unit on the English site.Is the sound from the two bookshelf speakers decent? Punchy bass is what i'm looking for. I hope it has good crisp highs and mids too. The subwoofer out is great, i'll put it to use. I want to buy this system for mostly Rap music. Does this unit fill a small room with sound well? I'm going to use it for a 10x8 Ft bedroom.I want to be able to hook an MP3 Player to this unit. I'm hoping the L/R inputs on the top left of the rear are RCA inputs. This thing has optical in right? One more thing, does this system have a built in amp? It seems like it, looking at the photo of the back of the unit.I need a mini/mirco system bad. My PC speakers are gone. This looks pretty good. It has a lot of aux input/outputs. Optical in is exactly what I was hoping for. You know too hook up external stuff. If you guys can clear that up for me I might pick this up. BTW, how much in USD, under $500 I right. Edited November 13, 2005 by Dale Caliente! dex Otaku
Note about the phono thing: you'll need a phono preamp to do this, or a turntable with a built-in preamp [most of the cheap 'tables I've seen recently have built-ins]. ingoo
Well I´m not quite sure, the speakers can handle 70W max, the manual states two things for the amp: 14W+14W and 26W+26W. Does this sound realistic? Since it´s in Japanese I´m not sure which one you are looking for.I think I can´t judge if the system sounds good for your ears (and I don´t listen to hip hop), you would have to hear for yourself. You can defineteley turn the bass up fairly well if you combine the 2-Step S. Bass and the normal Bass and Treble. For a small room it´ll sure be enough it think. The input on the back is just a regular line in. And yes, it has an optical input. Yes, the amp is built in.The price will very much depend on how and where you are going to get this system. In Japan at least it is sold for less than the ¥88,000 ($800) official retail price. R_de_Laat
Great system - I just got one shipped by mail to Switzerland. Sounds great. One caveat - no English manual. I have a challenge to get the FM to work correctly - it keeps scanning between 76 and 89.9 MHz, then jumps via VHF 1, VHF 2 VHF 3CH (on the display) back to 76. So using a cable antenna, which has at least 40 stations between 77 and 109MHz, I am stuck on a small bandwidth and 6 stations. Any suggestions?Another feature: turn up the sound too load and it turns itself off.
