mercury_in_flames
hello,i wonder what SYNC REC is? i have a question. if i want to record a sound track output from a audio mixer, i want to record the whole track without trimming it into pieces, how can i do? (there is silent in the middle)thxare you recording with an md deck? Are you recording via analogue or optical? If are recording optically, then you can use SYNC(hronised) REC(ording), otherwise, you have to edit it yourself. If my thinking is correct, if you are recording optically, it should create a separate track of the silence, if it more than 2 seconds long, so you can simply delete the extra 'space' after. Hope this helped.
daibe123
i input the sound via LineIn(analogue) to MD RH10, is there no other choice but edit the soundtrack afterwards? Mr_Bass_Man
i input the sound via LineIn(analogue) to MD RH10, is there no other choice but edit the soundtrack afterwards? My decks have a feature called "Smart Space" which basically divides tracks up when the input signal is below a certain level. You can enable/disable this feature in the equipment menus. My only HiMD (NH900) unit _doesn't_ appear to have that feature. The "Sync_Rec" feature is intended for optical/digital recordings from sources such as CD players. Qwakrz
My R900 (pre NetMD) used to have a habbit of removing spaces from those hidden tracks at the end of the last track on CD's. It use to add all the correct track marks using optical out but I always ended up at the end with the extra tracks tagged correctly without any of the long spaces. chriswyatt
I noticed my NH700 automatically added track marks when I was doing a vinyl recording, though it doesn't always get it right. It's not a problem because I can simply remove redundant trackmarks afterwards, I find adding them in a bit more difficult.
