Hello!

First let me congratulate for a great forum. In new in the world of the mini-disc but I love the format...

I bought an MZ-RH10 about 6 months ago and worked fine. But now Im trying to transfer and play a large audio file (audio-book) and it transfers OK but it says "Cannot Play". I've tried everything, converting the file to mp3, to wave, to ATRAC, upsampling, downsampling, slicing the file... and I still get that message.

Any help?

Thank you!

It could be that is is in MPEG2 MP3 which is not playable on thtese units only Mpeg1 Audio Layer 3. Check by looking at the file properties of the track in My Library. If this is the case convert to an Atrac bit rate higher than the original MP3 file. To force SS to transfer the Atrac file, either delete (or copy then delete) the MP3 file - again via the last tab (File Info) on the track properties in My Library.
