Noahark2
I recorded a bunch of live music on my himd and transferred a lot of it to my laptop. I can convert it to wave and the move it to my other computer but this takes up a lot of space. I used ss 3.2 on both computers. . My impression was that you could move the oma files and have them play as they had no drm under sonic stage 3.2 . I can't play them on my other computer. I can upload them again however and do it. I could also use the backup tool. Can the oma files from my recordings be directly transferred (easily) and still work?
atrain
you need to make sure they don't have DRM on the file. choose the track/s in sonicstage & reconvert them to the bitrate & format they are allready in. make sure the tick box for drm reflects what you'd like.after this process you can search [windows desktop -> F3 -> *.oma] then move the files you want manually. otherwise please update to SS3.3 - it seems to have no drm unless specified. Syrius
Now keep in mind that Oma files that have been uploaded from MD will have DRM. Only files you have imported from CDs or your own media files, AND converted to OMA, will be DRM-less after you uncheck the copy protection option when importing.
