christinecrook
I am looking for the best software to perform the unenviable task or recording hundreds of backing trax currently on Mini Disc to hard disc to save as MP3.If so, is there any way of the programme automatically splitting the trax as they record ?Thanks for any help. Sparky191
I just plug my MD into my sound card line in, and run the resultant WAV file through a program called CD WAVE. It splits the WAVbased on the sliences between tracks. Then I run them through an encoder to convert them to MP3. Slow process. Better would be to run them from a MD deck with an optical out into and optical in on a sound card. Then split the WAV and encode them.I don't think Marcs HiMD render works with non HiMD disks.
