I have a problen after updating to 2.01, all my song went away! and then i installed again 1.01, the songs are back but now connect does not recognice my a3000 :( what can i do?

I doubt the firmware will delete the songs on the player, since you have to do that yourself via the initalization option.

If you didn't need WMA support, which I don't even think CP supports, there is no need to install the new firmware. Reverting firmware doesn't fix things usually. I would suggest reinstalling 2.01 and then hooking up the player to the PC and opening CP and letting it gather info off the PC for the songs stored on the device.

Razorback, when you press the artist link, does teh artist link screen turn on? If so then the link is working, if no screen turns on then there is something a miss with the firmware there, since otherwise this wouldn't be happening.

Never Do that again..Try to reinstall the Firmware ver2.01 again .Then Connect your device to Pc then see whether CP recognise your player or not..If not .Contact Sony Service centre or Contact the Shop from where you got the product.

if we press the artist link while the buttons lighting white.. is it a must that the buttons turn to orange right after pressing the artist link button???

If the white lights are on and you press the artist link button, the orange lights will turn on whilte the white lights are still shining. If you look at it really closely you can see that after pressing the artist link button the buttons will have a hint of orange.
