Christopher
Now that we're full force on uploading through the client, anyone having problems with the infamious botched random and unpredictable uploads? Sonicstage 3.3 seemingly had alot of little quirks here and there and often many of you preferred version 3.2. Let's use this topic to refer what happened and the conditions surrounding it.I would especially appreciate the participation of our live recording enthusiasts. KrazyIvan
Richyhu was able to upload some of the tracks I sent to him for the Holiday MD trade. Those were downloaded via USB on my NHF800 via SS 3.2.
Richard
Richyhu was able to upload some of the tracks I sent to him for the Holiday MD trade. Those were downloaded via USB on my NHF800 via SS 3.2. Yeah, I uploaded them all, but it was an entirely woe-free process.
dex Otaku
I will get to doing some test uploads ASIC. Things I will test for:* uploading of unmodified tracks in HiLP, HiSP, and PCM modes* handling of tracks with known write errors [known problem]* handling of tracks that have been edited on the unit [known problem* handling of very short track lengths [known problem]* handling of contiguous tracks recorded via line-in and automatically trackmarked by the unit [specifically, whether combine still has the repeated section issue, which is admittedly likely a hardware problem]* exact behaviour of SS regarding attempts to upload non-DRM'd tracks from different sources [i.e. user-recorded original, SS transcoded from MP3, SS encoded from CD, SS encoded from WAV]If anyone can add any suggestions to this, please do.
