Alighero
i've had a PSP for qute sometime and recently went out and got myself a bigger Memory Stick (for music and videos, etc.) but when i finally heard what it sounds like through headphones i was severly dissapointed. Let's just say with a tv on semi low volume in the same room i cant even hear my music at full volume. I pray to god MD players dont have this problem. Really, if you cannot even hear your music at full volume, it's either the environment noise is too loud, or you already have hearing damage. Alighero
my hearing is perfect and i can hear the audio its just that it seems a little low for being "full volume" it probably is the head-phones... seeing as they are the standard Sony PSP phones... I would suggest trying some betterm (or at least different) headphones, and also perhaps checking in at the AtracLife forum as they cover PSP and non-MD queries in much more detail than MDCF.
