AliceWonder
Hello, i own a Sony MZ-NH600 portable recordable Hi-MD player and i mainly use it for recording with a minipreamp and binaural microphones. These plug into the line input (*if you are interested in sound recording, binaural mics are worth checking out). The problem is that i cannot adust the record volume. I know it is not possible with this MD player the way it is, as it only has line input, but does anyone know any tricks, device or a little electronics that will allow me to adjust the line input volume?Would be much appreciatedCheersAlice
The Low Volta
Hi and welcome to MDCF,um...as the NH600 (without a D) has recording abilities (as you have already mentioned) but only through line in, one would recon that they would behave like the line in on other 1st gen models...not? (please correct me if I'm wrong here)I sure can set rec levels when going line in on my NH900... put the machine in rec/pause, go to menu/rec set(tings)/rec volume, choose manual and adjust the levels as you likethis should also be covered in the user manual... (at least it is with the nH900, NH1,... ) so perhaps read it through...there might be more interesting things in there
