thx

Impedance on the HD 595 is 120 ohms. You would need a dedicated headphone amplifier to achieve any presence, impact, and soundstage. They are wonderful phones. I have the Senn HD 555 with an impedance of 50 ohms, and my RH910 drives those OK but when I add an external amp, I feel as though I am listening to phones that cost three times the price of the 555's. A small, portable amp is a nice sound upgrade.
