Finn88
Hi All,I was going to ask the question, but I've just worked it out. If anyone wants to know how to change the step on the remote RM-MC39LT on either the MZ-NF810 or the MZ-NHF800 (I can't find it in either of the manuals), here's how you do it.Turn the radio on and make sure it is on the AM band. Hold the Display button down until the word 'step' starts flashing. Press down on the jog lever so that either 'step9k' or 'step10k' appears. Using the jog dial either pushing left or right you can change the step. If you originally had a 10k step, you may also get the option 'A Preset'. I didn't play around with this so I'm guessing that it can automatically search for stations and puts them into the presets. Once you have chosen the step, press again on the jog lever. All done.Unfortunately you will lose all your presets, but like myself who damaged one of these remotes and bought another one over ebay, and had been stuck with a AM radio with a 10k step (no good in Australia), it will be a relief to be able to change between the two. Hope this helps.Finn
Supernova
It really helps!! I was stocked with the 9k thing! there wasn't a big deal on the reception of the radio, but I didn't like to see the dial on the 594 instead the 590! lol!Thank you!Tell me is there any way for me to be able to use the TV feature that I supposed to have for this model? I can't seam to find out how to change that.Thank you again! Edited May 29, 2006 by Supernova
Finn88
I believe the TV and the weather options can only be used in either the USA or Europe. Not living in any of those area's, I can't test it out. As a guess, the TV option allows you to listen to the audio of some stations. If it's getting these options off your unit, I was guess that you will be stuck with them.Finn It really helps!! Finn88
I think even if you did have the option, you wouldn't pick anything up in Australia.Finn
Supernova
Actually I'm in Argentina, I don't think I would pick up anything on the weather (I'm not even sure what is that about), but I think I can hear air TV channels... we have like 6 down here.
