onin111
Hi, I'm about to purchase a NetMD but i'm carefully looking for one that can cue the next song without have the current song playing to stop. I've read in the manual that this might be possible but by groups, like cueing the next group. Is this how it works with cueing groups? Does the current song stop and then play the first track of the cued group? Can this be possible on songs without a group? Thanks! And lastly, which Minidisc can you recommend? Thanks a lot! eriktous
I don't own a NetMD, but I have a Hi-MD and I don't think what you want is possible. You can program tracks in advance and then start play, but you can't program 'on the fly', so to speak. The Low Volta
I also do not own a NetMD, but with my NH900 (HiMD) it is possible:- just use the scrollwheel on the device (while playing a track) you can scroll through all groups and enter one (by pressing the 5-way stick) and scroll through tracks and when the selector is on the track you want: pressing the 5-way stick will start playing that trackso you can select the next track no matter where on the disc without having to stop playback (of another track) but it isn't really ligning up as in you can 'program on the fly' or you point it to another track and it will automatically play that one once the current one ends: you have to wait till the previous track is done (or you've heard enough and want to move on) then manually 'start' the selected one
raintheory
This is only possible on HiMD as far as I know. No way to do it on any other models, at least none of the ones I own.

Just like in Winamp.
onin111
@The Low VoltaSo when you select the desired next song using the 5-way stick, would the current song stop and then play the song you select? Or the current song has to finish before the selected track starts?I'm planning to buy N1 too... Thanks to all!!!
