boerner
I have posted this before, without a proper answer ... There is an alpha version of a winamp 5.2 plugin for the sony hd players. Once complete it should work 100 times better than sonicstage. Is it not possible to create the same thing for the minidisc players as well? The existing plugin should work for mp3 and atrac. link below: http://www.atraclife.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=1528
danielbb90
If they can bypass Sony's Hi-MD DRM then yes...But I doubt it will be done...Well atleast SonicStage is gettin better...Verry cool that they got through to Network walkmen! superkpt
I've got some basic PHP skillz and barely any reverse engineering skillz so I'm gonna answer: Not sure. My guess is, it shouldn't be so bad. Particularly since SonicStage now can transfer files without DRM. However, I've got an NH900 and SonicStage still converts files to ATRAC. Newer players can transfer native MP3. So, it seems, that it's not just the software that dictates how the computer talks to the player/recorder. Hardware might be involved. All I know is, if someone does come out with a plugin for Winamp, I would BUY it. I've been so frustrated with SonicStage's 'My Library.' MD for life. Maybe.
