The Low Volta
looks like some sort of cross-over between German and Latin... couldn't it be some sort of artificial language like esperanto or ido or something?
raintheory
I was thinking the german/latin thing too actually. lolIt's actually part of a song from a CD that I just got. It has a voice from one speaker speaking in this language and a computer voice in the other speaker translating it, however the computer malfunctions towards the end but the real voice keeps talking. there is a full transcription in the linear notes, which is where i'm getting this from.the cd is "reigns - we lowered a microphone into the ground". fantastic album, highly recommended.anyway, the actual translation of what i typed previously is "we have a daughter. she is called heidi. please tell her that we are well. what year is it now?"right before the translating computer "malfunctions" in the song, it says "we have a message for Heidi. it is very important. something we have discovered in our time here. it is the one thing everyone would wish to know in life. we wish we had. it is this..." and then like i said the voice keeps talking but the translating computer thing malfucntions and then the song ends. EDIT: Here is the actual part that comes after that isn't translated in the song - "Kristen en deum zi morteus. Pardist zi deslace. Faist quist vose amulse. Tuska mein bist chilcendor. Tuska mein estvincia. Faist quist vose amulse. Neita signifse. Neita signifse. Gar os varda. Gar os frigt. Neita"I've narrowed some of the words down from what is translated from other parts of the song:tuska mein = please tellestvincia = everyoneneita = nothingfrigt = cold Edited June 10, 2006 by raintheory
