Recently,I try to use it to rec the music from CD device via optical cable...Unfortunally, I can only get the message " Line In " from the LCD screen. ( That's means theR50 did not receive any optical signal ). Before, I make sure it is working very well for optical cable. Now I have no idea why...Is anyone who has experience for it? Darkflame Posted July 7, 2006 Report Share Posted July 7, 2006 Yes check the connections to the line in jack. I had some dirt get stuck in there before, I cleaned it by taking an old bic pen (used) and removing the pen part (with the clear stem)It's the perfect size for the line in jack, just place the stem into the jack until it goes no further and digital will flash on the display.
