MD Simple Burner

Hi.. new to the Forum. I've experienced the reverse-order recording on some of my Broadway cast CD's, where it is a requirement that they be in the proper sequence. On other B'way CD's, I've not had the problem. I called SONY support, and after a rather lengthy wait, they told me to rename the file and drag and drop. Well, I didn't pay big bucks for all this sophisticated equipment to have to jump through hoops to get my recordings in order. Has anyone else had this problem? Solutions? BTW, I'm using the MZ-RH910 through the USB to my IBM/Lenovo PC. And, yes, I tried erasing the minidisc and re-recording, but it did the same thing (with this one particular CD).

What version of Windows are you running?

Do the tracks appear in the correct order on the left side (CD side) of the screen before you record them to Hi-MD?

Also, what version of simple burner are you using? The most recent version (2.0.05.25150) is availabe in the downloads section here in the forums. Depending on the situation a full uninstall/reinstall of the program may be a solution.

I'm running Windows XP.

The tracks on the left side are in proper sequence, and initially on the right side as they are being recorded, they are as well. It's when recording is complete and the right side "blinks" and voila, the tracks are in reverse order.

I can only see 2.0 as the version in the "read me" file that is part of the program. I will take your advice and remove and re-install and see if that solves the problem. Thx.

To check your current version of SB, click on the Config button on the top right, then look in the version tab. I do think I may have experienced this once myself a long long time ago, but can't for the life of me remember what I did (if anything).

As raintheory says try upgrading to version 2.0.05.25150 from the downloads section if you aren't already on it and lets us know how it goes.
