unignal
Wonder how the camera on DH10P perform under different situation and lighting? My photo gallery here, http://thewicked.sgblogging.com/gallery/ contains many (well and badly taken) photos using my trusty DH10P (except folder "0205" and "NDP2006 (2)"). Worth a look!Note: In NDP2006 folder, many of the fireworks photo were overexposed because I forgot to set it:(Enjoy! I would say most photos look very good considering it is taken using a 1.3MP camera.Comments and feedbacks welcomed. nathantw666
Enjoy! I would say most photos look very good considering it is taken using a 1.3MP camera. Thanks for sharing. From what I heard a web display or monitor can only display a 1.3MP image anyway, so it's perfect for displaying on the computer.

an0nym0usmuse
The DH10p has become my "camera" of choice for my informal photos on Flickr. The quality is a lot better than you'd expect for a 1.3 mp camera.
jaylen
Just wondering. After taking all those pictures, how was your battery level?
unignal
Regarding battery, I took all the pics in the NDP2006 and Rabbits folder using the same battery in the same day.In other words, I'm able to squeeze about about 100 photos in one charge. I'm pretty amazed myself. (I took the last 20 photos when the battery indicator was blinking. Even then, I had not yet fully exhaust the battery - no "batt low" sign)And here are some newly added photos taken during the Singapore Fireworks Festival.http://thewicked.sgblogging.com/gallery/fireworks/Hard to time properly with DH10P, and firework happen all too quickly, so there are only a few "good" shots.Another note, other than the Singapre Fireworks Festival photos, all the other photos were actually highly compressed by picassa (down to around 40~100kb each). Still look pretty good, don't they? Those who are still unable to make up their mind about DH10P should be able to now Typically, the resolution of the monitor is set to 1024*768, while 1.3MP's resolution is actually 1280*960. You can scale it down to make it look sharper and use photos taken for a perfect wallpaper. Actually, for normal consumers, 2MP is the most they will ever need. All those increasing MPs were mostly marketing ploys by manufacturers to persuad people to upgrade their cameras to higher MPs when the one they owned was good enough. I would say that if you are not going to print your photos much, 1.3MP is more than enough (enough to use as wallpaper!)Sony would have made my day if there is an optical zoom function. Digital zoom just can't cut it.Sorry for my poor grammer. I never bother to learn it from my incompetent teacher Edited August 11, 2006 by Unignal
