slytherin
Hi~ I got a big problem when using my new MD player RH1. I used to use SONY MP3 Player A608, I ripped heaps my CD into Atrac3plus 192 and 256k. All these files work no problem with my A608. But when I tried to transfer them into my RH1, I found most of them can't be transferred into my RH1, the sonic stage CP 4.0 promotes the error messages as " the file can not be transferred", "the transfer is prohibited". I never add copy protection when I ripped my CD, and I check the properties with these files, I see the "Remaining transfer count" are all "Unlimited". But I can transfer all my mp3 files with no problems.Something I found more wired is, some tracks I transferred to my RH1 successfully can't be transferred again 10min later, in some album, only the 1st few tracks can be transferred, the rest of them can't. I tried to reintall my Sonicstage CP 4.0, still doesn't work, then I try to transfer these file in my laptop, but still doesn't work. I went back to the shop that I purchased my RH1, they said they never see such kind of problem before, I wonder is this happen because I got a fault product? You guys are the only one I can turn into now. Desperate to have your help on this! Thanks! Edited September 12, 2006 by slytherin
bobt
Do you have any of the source cd's, try using simple burner, or else try burning a cd of songs that won't transfer to cd and again try simple burner.Try doing a software reset on SS and see what happens.Other than that we will need more info on songs, puter, etcGood luckBob

Richard
Have a look at some of of the known issues in this topic: http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?showtopic=8071 and if necessary try do a complete re-install of SS according to the steps also mentioned there.* Moved to Software Discussion

FlatEarth
I have exactly the same problem!I use a 600D, a RH10 and recently RH1 and now anything that was previously in my SS database won't transfer to ANYTHING.WHile I have all of this on CD, it's a pain thinking that I can't use thes and have to waste days (yup, I have a lot of music) creating a new database... has anyone solved this yet? I've gone through the steps, uninstall, etc. (am using 4.2 now) and the only tracks that work are recent imports.Any luck out there?
