Here is my computer spec2 x Intel Xeon Dual core 3.6Ghz2 x 2GB RAM256MB Nvidia Quadro FX 3500Windows XP Pro SP2I had followed (Ishiyoshi) guideline on SS 4.0, after I created the shortcut it should automatically launch the SS but it didnt. When I tried again using the shortcut and relaunch Applocale again it just pop-up SS start-up screen for less then 1 sec.....I hope you guys have a solution for this...Thanks Edited September 28, 2006 by Mons Terz
A440
Why are you using Applocale? SonicStage is not a legacy app. Are you using any skinning software? Windowblinds, etc. It has to be off.Another possibility is that your NVidia card is conflicting with SonicStage.
Richard
Does SS startup without AppLocale ok? If not then as A440 suggested, try disabling skins software and if that fails try searching for the threads relating to Nvidia conflicts. If SS does work ok on its own and fails exclusively under AppLocale report back and we'll take it from there. Thanks.
monsterz
I dont have any skinning software install on my Comp, Everything run smoothly when i open SS only.. but only the chinese characters shows "????". If I use Applocale, it cant launch SS. The reason why i use applocale is to view chinese and Jap words in SS.
Ishiyoshi
I’ve responded to your pm. Report back if the problem still persists.
pata2001
Get an iPod + iTunes, and you won't have problems with chinese/Japanese anymore. Wonder when Sony will ever make Sonicstage unicode. BTW, due to the limitations of Applocale, you won't even be able to show both chinese AND Japanese at the same time. And then there is another issue in how to get Sony units to display kanji properly. Oh, and read my sig.
