Nigel Southway
Hi I wonder if anyone could help me.I have music on mini disc which I need to get onto CD. I have a Sony MDS JE780 unit and a Sony Vai laptop. Ive thought about buying a Cd recorder unit to transfer but wondered is there a way using my laptop.I would be really grateful for any help.CheerNige
bobt
Many answers in the forum, but the easiest with what you have is your line out or headphone out of the MD into the line in of your puter. Of course it will be in realtime, you should probably get Marcs MD Renderer from the download section. Of course the best way is to get an RH1, then you can digitally upload with the USB.Once the files are uploaded you can burn a CD of your tracks. Other option is to buy a dedicated CD recorder and use thatGood luck,Bob
Richard
As Bob says you have a few options - indeed check out Hi-MD renderer and you may also want to have a look at this:http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?showtopic=7070
