tcp1
Does anyone know where I could obtain some of the "standard" sized jewel cases that came with prerecorded minidiscs? I have several prerecorded discs, complete with the cover art and inserts - but many of the cases are all scratched, cracked, and broken. I'd like to replace these, but not sure wehere I could possibly find these cases!Any advice? Thanks!-tcp1
jaylen
Not sure where or if you can still buy those pre-recorded disc cases, but here's an alternative idea for you: http://www.audiotstation.com/forum/showpos...p;postcount=491Get a hold of the older 1GB discs and use their cases. Good luck.
jillako
I'm sure I've seen jewel cases on sale at minidiscaccess.com I can't seem to bring their site up right now but try it out later, I think they have plenty.
jaylen
I'm sure I've seen jewel cases on sale at minidiscaccess.comI think he's/she's talking about the cases that come with pre-recorded discs and not the jewel cases that are like CD cases. They are different. For pre-recorded discs:Jewel cases (CD-style) at MinidiscAccess:Here is one place I've found that has the pre-recorded disc cases: http://www.expressspares.co.uk/product.asp...;id=191083&. They are located in the UK. I'm not sure if they ship international.Good luck.

tcp1
For pre-recorded discs:Yep, the first one is what I'm talking about. I've had about zero luck finding them in the US - although the "large case" Hi-MD case is an option.. I'd like to go 'original' though if I can, since I keep 'em on my shelf spine out, etc.. I'll check out that UK site. Thanks! That's the closest lead I've had so far.
baturjan
they've got them here.http://www.minidiscaccess.com/fc101.html
theblueraja
they've got them here.http://www.minidiscaccess.com/fc101.htmlThose aren't the ones the thread-starter was asking for.The original MD album cases were tall, long-box style, where the disc fit inside an inner square, as seen pictured below. The jewel case link you provided would not fit the artwork.

1kyle
woops! I didn't read it careful enough.I have loads that I got "many many moons ago" from a store in Hamburg Germany -these are the Blue one's with flip lids. I bought 300 of these at the time (in those days the GBP was high against the DM -- long before the introduction of the Euro).I've never seen these cases again --would love to find more of these. Cheers -K
