orange
I know that this is the type of small question that infuriates people, and seems a waste of forum space. But the truth is that I have very little use (as present) for most of the MZ-RH1's functionality and, in addition, I'm remote- and instruction book phobic. So, the question is, could someone please give me an idiots step-by-step guide to changing playback speed via the remote?

paularmenores
Just hold down the display button on the remote. A menu will appear which you can scroll through using the fast-foward and rewind buttons until you get to 'SpeedCtrl'. Hit the play button, then you can adjust the speed using fast-foward and rewind again.
orange
pa5005 - thank you! I think I'm instruction-book myopic or something. After following your simple directions with easy success, I checked the book again, only to realise that I hadn't been reading it right. Thanks for your patience! Sparda
i haven't read the manual either.....You mean to say you have never accessed the menu on your remote? I'm sure you would come across the SpeedCtrl if you entered the menu just once.
