I just read about this new piece of software called CrossOver Mac for Intel Mac users who want to run Windows applications without Windows:

http://www.codeweavers.com/products/cxmac/

Supposedly it will allow you to install Windows applications without letting Windows itself anywhere near your Mac. If there are any Intel Mac users out there who feel adventurous enough to give it a try, there is a free beta version available for download. I'd love to know if it will work with any version SonicStage-- it might be enough to encourage me to bid farewell to my trusty PowerBook.

Cheers,

V.

I have tried it , and every prog I tried to run failed , Simple progs like Graph Calc for window ( which I LOVED ) wouldnt run , Finale Notepad , wouldnt run , Musedit ( Which I helped with on the input design ) wouldnt run .

I Cannot recommend Crossover , not untill they fix a LOT of code in it , it is still very buggy . I was on the Reviewer list of beta testers( advocate list)

here is a program list with ratings of what will and will not work
