I know that the best place to ask would be in ATRACLife, but that place seens like a ghost town...

So yesterday, after i had formatted my PC, i tried to download SonicStage 4.3, but i said that it could not find the server.

I´m was trying to download the american version, good thing i´ve got the SonicStage 4.3 for connect, which does not need internet connection do install

Has Sony closed the server from SonicStage? So in the future i wont be able to make backups using the backup tool from SS, since it authenticates my backup through the net?

What you guys think?

According to http://musicstore.connect.com/ the servers will still be running "through the end of 2008."

Yes i know. but i just hope that this is not valid for the backup...

I'm the developer of an alternative to SonicStage, called JSymphonic.

I'd like to know how you are using this backup tool, in what condition, for what purpose.

I don't see any interest of a backup tool within SonicStage. I only have 2go of music on my walkman, and they are a copy of what I have in my library. I don't need to backup this little amont of music.
