protected wma files

I think I know the answer, but just checking anyway...

Is the only way to transfer a protected wma file to the MD unit by burning the file to wma, then ripping with Simple Burner or SS?

My public library allows card holders to download audio books. They're protected wma files. I'd like to put them on the MD, but burning/ripping tons of CDs is not my idea of fun... is there an easier way?

Thanks.

you could make cd-images in something like nero, mount them with daemon tools or alcohol 120% then rip them into atrac3+/mp3

it's the same system but you don't have to use physical cds & it'll be a little faster as there's no physical media to be written to.
