UMWOOFWOOFF Posted January 19, 2007 Report Share Posted January 19, 2007 Hi everyone...I have quite a few "parts" mindisc decks and some broken units, and I was wondering if anyone knew off the top of their head what other machines can use the entire transport assembly from an MDS-JB980? I believe the 940 can, but does anyone know if this transport assembly (meaning the disc spinning mechanism, optical block and head, ATRAC chip, etc...all as one unit) can be used in any other units?
