Hi.

I have an RH1 and a Sharp MT832. I use the MT832for recording in the field. (It's much easier to see the display and manage). Recordings are great but when I put the recorded disc into the RH1 to download them to my PC it won't do it. It shows the tracks as one group/block but not the individual tracks as recorded on the MT832. Then it won't let me transfer them in any case. Is there a format compatibility problem here or is it SS limitation??

:scratchhead:

Thanks.

Chris

Very odd... :scratchhead: Normally, there should be no problem with uploading old-school MD tracks (provided they are recorded in real time) as the RH1 is compatible with all kinds of MD recordings made on each recorder ever built, regardless of the manufacturer.

I'll do some controlled tests and list the settings as well s the resulting messages from SS. and post them. Perhaps that will help trigger something. I'm fairly new to MD matters so there is probably a seting I have to change on the Sharp like LP, SP, bit rate etc.

Cheers,

Chris
