Rhino23
I just installed SS4.3 and it keeps wanting to start the SS System Information Restoral tool... I click ok, and it says I'm not connected to the internet... I am connected to the net and have port 80 open in udp and tcp open in my windows firewall.. do I need to open that port on my router also or is there just something that I am missing??? 4.2 worked fine from the day I installed it... jayportelli@hotmail.com
I too am having the same problem. I know how to use computers. I've disabled firewall antivirus ad-aware etc.. All programs that I can see that have a remote chance at blocking SonicStage access to the internet. Its as if the place SonicStage is trying to connect to is down. Syrius
Why does it need to connect to the web, if it never stored the info of your uploaded songs to begin with? This tool is intended to be used with files downloaded from the Connect store, but Sony saw it fit to brand every user a potential pirate and cause this inconvenience...On the other hand, every User of SS should un-DRM their songs if they are still in OMA format, and back them up ASAP. I'm glad I did.
jayportelli@hotmail.com
I don't use the connect store so this kind of bugs me. Is there anyway to delete whatever database the program is looking at, so I can get in it?
