Pipes5780
Hi, I am new here so please bear with me. I have had the Sony MZ-NF610. I originally got it for music. I also host a podcast. With the podcast I will be doing an interview outside of my little home studio. Is there a way for me to use my MD for this? The problem I see is that it only has a line-in, not a mic-in. Does someone know of a way for me to record using this? Thanx in advance for your help.

Thank you so much! Edited March 23, 2007 by Pipes5780

boojum
I am able to plug my self-powered SONY (ECM-MS957) into either of my MD's line-in. I do that when recording loud venues, lilke amplified rock.
boojum
That's interesting, so the 957 directly into the line input instead of the microphone input when the music is really loud. That's worth knowing.I know this as it is in the teeny-weeny little folded piece of paper SONY calls a manual. ;o) And the line-in does not have the pre-amp so it makes good sense, too.L8R
